Mediation
The end of your relationship is the end of an era. The emotions and challenges that are attendant to the process are usually fueled by financial, emotional, and legal issues that need to be resolved before your divorce can be finalized or relationship ended. As a mediator, I will help you; 1) untangle the issues that uniquely impact your divorce, and 2) move toward a quick resolution. As your mediator, I am committed to saving you time and money while affording you the opportunity to make the important decisions to help move your life (and your children’s lives) forward.
I am unique as a mediator because I have personally analyzed over 1,600 actual divorce and paternity cases) as well as conducting mediation within the courts. No one understands the complexities and fears brought to the table during the divorce process like I do and I pledge to provide you the space you need to work with your ex-partner to resolve matters regarding custody, alimony, parent time (a.k.a. visitation), and the division of assets.
Mediations can be conducted in person in the same room, in person with each person in a separate room (i.e., caucus), or by telephone (via a three-party call). Your needs can be accommodated.
I am an Advanced Practitioner Member of the Association for Conflict Resolution (Family Section), affiliated with the Connecticut Bar Association, and a member of the Board of The Connecticut Council for Divorce and Family Mediation. As your divorce mediator, I will help you create a foundation for any future contact you will be required to have with your ex-partner and help you move your life forward to a more positive place.
